Sophia t. Received the Judges Award6th Grade Students in Tech and Art Classes collaborated to make an iMovie for their Black History Month activity. First, the students researched an African American that had an occupation in STEAM: Science,Technology, Engineering, Art, or Math. Once each group decided on their STEAM person, they researched their accomplishments in their STEAM field.
In Art Class they used the concept of negative space to create a silhouette of their person in their Sketchbook App. In Tech Class, they put the images that represented the achievements of that person into an iMovie. The two were combined to make a final presentation. Great job students! |
